宇治の抹茶師 | The Matcha Master of Uji

第一章 | Chapter One: 茶の都 (Capital of Tea)

宇治川のほとりに、老舗の茶屋があった。

On the banks of the Uji River stood a long-established tea house.

四十八歳の茶々は、この店で最高の抹茶を求め続けてきた。ふくよかな体に、茶の香りを纏った着物、そして茶葉を見つめる鋭い眼差し。

Forty-eight-year-old Chacha had been pursuing the finest matcha at this shop. Her full figure, kimono carrying the scent of tea, and sharp gaze when examining tea leaves.

「宇治の抹茶は、千年の歴史。私は、その味を次の千年に伝えたいのです」

"Uji matcha has a thousand years of history. I want to pass that taste to the next thousand years."

第二章 | Chapter Two: 茶室の秘密 (Tea Room Secret)

世界的なパティシエが、抹茶を求めて訪れた。

A world-renowned patissier came seeking matcha.

茶々は彼を茶室に招き入れた。畳の香りと、茶の香りが混ざり合う。

Chacha invited him into the tea room. The scent of tatami mingled with tea.

「最高の抹茶は、石臼で挽くのです。機械では出せない味があります」

"The finest matcha is ground with a stone mill. There's a taste machines cannot achieve."

彼女の豊満な手が、優雅に茶杓を動かした。

Her plump hands elegantly moved the tea scoop.

第三章 | Chapter Three: 夜の点茶 (Night Tea Ceremony)

「今夜は特別に、私だけの点て方をお見せします」茶々は囁いた。

"Tonight, I'll show you my personal way of preparing tea," Chacha whispered.

月明かりの中、彼女は茶筅を動かし始めた。

In moonlight, she began to move the tea whisk.

「この抹茶には、私の全てが込められています」

"Everything of me is contained in this matcha."

彼女の着物が少しはだけ、白い肌が月光に照らされた。

Her kimono slipped slightly, her white skin illuminated by moonlight.

第四章 | Chapter Four: 朝の茶畑 (Morning Tea Field)

夜が明け、二人は茶畑を歩いていた。

As dawn broke, they walked through the tea field.

「この茶葉から、最高の抹茶が生まれます」茶々は微笑んだ。

"From these tea leaves, the finest matcha is born," Chacha smiled.

朝露に濡れた茶葉が、朝日に輝いていた。

Tea leaves wet with morning dew sparkled in the sunrise.

「また、宇治に来てくださいね。次は、新茶の季節に」

"Please come to Uji again. Next time, during new tea season."

宇治の朝が、二人の約束を祝福していた。

The Uji morning blessed their promise.
