津和野の神楽舞い手 | The Kagura Dancer of Tsuwano

第一章 | Chapter One: 山陰の小京都 (San'in's Little Kyoto)

島根県津和野の古い神社に、夜ごと神楽が奉納されていた。

At an old shrine in Tsuwano, Shimane, kagura was offered nightly.

四十八歳の神子は、この地で最も美しい神楽を舞う女性だった。ふくよかな体に、白い装束、そして神が宿ったような瞳。

Forty-eight-year-old Miko was the woman who danced the most beautiful kagura in this land. Her full figure, white vestments, and eyes as if possessed by gods.

「神楽は、神と人を繋ぐ舞。私の体は、神の器なのです」

"Kagura is a dance connecting gods and humans. My body is a vessel for the divine."

第二章 | Chapter Two: 奉納の夜 (Night of Offering)

民俗学者が、研究のために訪れた。

A folklorist came for research.

神子は彼を神楽殿に招いた。篝火が二人を照らす。

Miko invited him to the kagura hall. Bonfire light illuminated them.

「今夜の神楽は、特別なもの。百年に一度しか舞われません」

"Tonight's kagura is special. It's only danced once every hundred years."

彼女の豊満な体が、炎に照らされて神秘的に揺れていた。

Her voluptuous body swayed mysteriously, illuminated by flames.

第三章 | Chapter Three: 神降ろしの舞 (Dance of Divine Descent)

「神降ろしの瞬間を、見てください」神子は囁いた。

"Watch the moment of divine descent," Miko whispered.

彼女の舞が激しくなり、やがてトランス状態に入った。

Her dance intensified, and she eventually entered a trance.

「今、私の中に神がいます。何でも聞いてください」

"Now, a god is within me. Ask anything."

彼女の瞳が、炎の光を映して異様に輝いていた。

Her eyes shone strangely, reflecting the firelight.

第四章 | Chapter Four: 朝の神社 (Morning Shrine)

夜が明け、神楽が終わった。

As dawn broke, the kagura ended.

「昨夜のことは、夢のよう」神子は微笑んだ。

"Last night feels like a dream," Miko smiled.

彼女は普段の姿に戻り、朝日の中で穏やかに立っていた。

She had returned to her usual self, standing peacefully in the morning sun.

「また、津和野に来てください。神様も、あなたを待っていますから」

"Please come to Tsuwano again. The gods are also waiting for you."

津和野の朝霧が、二人の物語を包んでいた。

Tsuwano's morning mist wrapped their story.
