第一章 | Chapter One: 島唄の里 (Home of Island Songs)

沖縄本島の小さな集落に、三線の音色が響いていた。

In a small village on Okinawa's main island, the sound of sanshin echoed.

四十七歳の美ら子は、島で最も美しい声を持つ三線奏者だった。南国の太陽に焼けた肌と、豊満な体つきが、彼女の歌に生命力を与えていた。

Forty-seven-year-old Churako was the sanshin player with the most beautiful voice on the island. Her sun-kissed skin and voluptuous figure gave her songs their vitality.

「三線は、先祖の声を今に伝える楽器さー」

"The sanshin is an instrument that carries our ancestors' voices to the present."

第二章 | Chapter Two: 月夜の浜辺 (Moonlit Beach)

満月の夜、美ら子は浜辺で三線を弾いていた。

On a full moon night, Churako played sanshin on the beach.

一人の旅人が、その音色に引き寄せられてやってきた。

A lone traveler was drawn by the melody.

「あんた、ないちゃーね？内地から来たの？」彼女の大きな瞳が月光を映す。

"You're from the mainland, aren't you?" Her large eyes reflected the moonlight.

彼女の紅型の衣装が、海風になびいて豊満な曲線を浮かび上がらせた。

Her bingata garment fluttered in the sea breeze, revealing her generous curves.

第三章 | Chapter Three: 秘密の歌 (Secret Song)

「この歌は、誰にも教えたことがないさー」美ら子は囁いた。

"I've never taught this song to anyone," Churako whispered.

波の音をバックに、彼女は情熱的な旋律を奏で始めた。

With waves as her backdrop, she began to play a passionate melody.

「これは、恋人に捧げる歌。聴いたら、心を奪われるよ」

"This is a song dedicated to lovers. If you hear it, your heart will be stolen."

彼女の豊かな胸が、歌のリズムに合わせて上下する。

Her ample bosom rose and fell with the rhythm of the song.

第四章 | Chapter Four: 夜明けの約束 (Dawn Promise)

東の空が紫色に染まり始めた。

The eastern sky began to turn purple.

「沖縄には『いちゃりばちょーでー』という言葉があるさー。一度会えば兄弟」美ら子は微笑んだ。

"In Okinawa, we have a saying: 'ichariba chode.' Once we meet, we are family," Churako smiled.

彼女の温かい手が、彼の頬に触れた。

Her warm hand touched his cheek.

「また会えたら、もっと特別な歌を聴かせてあげるさー」

"If we meet again, I'll let you hear an even more special song."

沖縄の朝日が、二人の出会いを祝福していた。

The Okinawa sunrise blessed their encounter.
