第一章 | Chapter One: 三千年の湯 (Three Thousand Year Bath)

四国松山に、日本最古の温泉があった。

In Matsuyama, Shikoku, stood Japan's oldest hot spring.

四十九歳の湯守は、道後温泉本館で三十年、湯を守り続けてきた。ふくよかな体は、毎日の温泉のおかげで若々しく保たれている。

Forty-nine-year-old Yumori had been protecting the waters at Dogo Onsen Honkan for thirty years. Her full figure was kept youthful thanks to daily hot spring bathing.

「道後温泉は、三千年の歴史。神々も、この湯に浸かったと言われております」

"Dogo Onsen has three thousand years of history. It's said even the gods bathed in these waters."

第二章 | Chapter Two: 神の湯 (Bath of the Gods)

温泉文化の研究者が、調査のために訪れた。

A researcher of hot spring culture came for a study.

湯守は彼を特別な浴室に案内した。

Yumori led him to a special bathing room.

「ここは、皇族だけが入浴された『又新殿』。今夜は、特別にお見せします」

"This is the Yuushinden, where only royalty bathed. Tonight, I'll show you specially."

彼女の白い肌が、湯気の中で神秘的に浮かび上がった。

Her white skin emerged mysteriously in the steam.

第三章 | Chapter Three: 湯文学の夜 (Night of Bath Literature)

「夏目漱石も、この湯に浸かりました」湯守は囁いた。

"Natsume Soseki also bathed in these waters," Yumori whispered.

彼女は『坊っちゃん』の一節を暗唱した。

She recited a passage from Botchan.

「この湯には、文学の魂が宿っています」

"The soul of literature dwells in these waters."

彼女の豊満な体が、文学と温泉の歴史を体現していた。

Her voluptuous body embodied the history of literature and hot springs.

第四章 | Chapter Four: 朝の道後 (Morning Dogo)

夜が明け、太鼓の音が響いた。

As dawn broke, the sound of taiko echoed.

「この太鼓は、朝風呂の合図。道後の一日の始まりです」湯守は微笑んだ。

"This drum signals the morning bath. It's the beginning of Dogo's day," Yumori smiled.

彼女の温かい手が、彼を朝風呂に導いた。

Her warm hands guided him to the morning bath.

「また、道後に来てください。三千年の湯が、あなたを待っています」

"Please come to Dogo again. Three thousand years of waters await you."

道後の朝が、二人の約束を祝福していた。

The Dogo morning blessed their promise.
