第一章 | Chapter One: 五彩の里 (Village of Five Colors)

石川県の山間に、九谷焼の窯元があった。

四十八歳の彩子は、この地で最も鮮やかな九谷焼を作る女性だった。ふくよかな体に、絵付けで染まった指先、そして色彩を見極める鋭い眼。

Forty-eight-year-old Saiko was the woman who created the most vivid Kutani-ware in this region. Her full figure, fingertips stained from painting, and sharp eyes for discerning colors.
