京都の舞踊家 | The Dancer of Kyoto

京都で、四十八歳の舞子は日本舞踊を教え続けていた。

"Let's dance together on the moonlit beach."

新潟で、四十九歳の歌い手は佐渡おけさを歌い続けていた。

In Niigata, forty-nine-year-old Utaite continued singing Sado Okesa.

「民謡は、庶民の心。私の声に、この土地の魂が宿っています」

"Folk songs are the common people's heart. The soul of this land dwells in my voice."
