第一章 | Chapter One: 中洲の夜 (Nakasu Night)

博多の中洲に、一軒の屋台が灯りを点していた。

In Hakata's Nakasu, a single yatai lit its lanterns.

四十八歳の明太子は、この屋台を三十年守り続けてきた。ふくよかな体に、博多弁の威勢の良い声、そして客を包み込む笑顔。

Forty-eight-year-old Mentaiko had protected this yatai for thirty years. Her full figure, spirited Hakata dialect, and smile that embraced customers.

「博多の屋台は、人と人を繋ぐ場所ばい。うちは、その架け橋たい」

"Hakata yatai are places that connect people. I'm that bridge."

第二章 | Chapter Two: とんこつの香り (Scent of Tonkotsu)

終電を逃したサラリーマンが、ふらりと立ち寄った。

A businessman who missed the last train wandered in.

明太子はラーメンを差し出した。濃厚なとんこつの香りが立ち上る。

Mentaiko offered ramen. The rich scent of tonkotsu rose.

「あんた、疲れとるやろ？うちのラーメンで、元気出しんしゃい」

"You're tired, aren't you? Get energized with my ramen."

彼女の豊満な体が、屋台の湯気に包まれていた。

Her voluptuous body was wrapped in the yatai's steam.

第三章 | Chapter Three: 焼き鳥の夜 (Night of Yakitori)

「今夜は特別に、裏メニュー出したるばい」明太子は囁いた。

"Tonight, I'll bring out the secret menu," Mentaiko whispered.

彼女は特製の焼き鳥を焼き始めた。炭火の熱が、二人を包む。

She began grilling special yakitori. Charcoal heat enveloped them.

「これは、常連にしか出さん特別なやつたい」

"This is a special one I only serve to regulars."

彼女の汗ばんだ肌が、炭火に照らされて艶やかに光っていた。

Her perspiring skin glowed, illuminated by the charcoal.

第四章 | Chapter Four: 夜明けの一杯 (Dawn's Last Cup)

夜が明け始め、屋台を片付ける時間になった。

Dawn began to break, and it was time to close the yatai.

「最後の一杯、サービスばい」明太子は微笑んだ。

"The last cup is on the house," Mentaiko smiled.

二人で焼酎を飲み干した。

They finished their shochu together.

「また来んしゃいね。うちは、いつでもあんたを待っとるけん」

"Come again. I'll always be waiting for you."

博多の朝日が、二人の新しい絆を照らしていた。

The Hakata sunrise illuminated their new bond.
