西双版纳傣寨 | Xishuangbanna Dai Village
西双版纳的傣族寨子里，有一位泼水节女王叫玉罕，四十六岁，每年带领全寨庆祝这个最盛大的节日。
In a Xishuangbanna Dai village, Water Festival queen Yu Han, forty-six, led the village in celebrating this grandest festival each year.
"泼水是祝福，" 她说，丰满的身躯被水打湿，"水越多，祝福越多。"
"Splashing water is blessing," she said, her full figure drenched. "More water, more blessings."
香格里拉藏民家 | Shangri-La Tibetan Home
香格里拉的藏族民宿女主人叫卓玛央宗，四十七岁，用酥油茶和青稞酒款待每一位客人。
Tibetan homestay hostess Zhuoma Yangzong in Shangri-La, forty-seven, welcomed every guest with butter tea and barley wine.
"香格里拉是心中的日月，" 她说，"来到这里的人都是有缘人。"
"Shangri-La is the sun and moon of the heart," she said. "All who come here have destiny."
延边朝鲜族泡菜坊 | Yanbian Korean Kimchi Workshop
延边的朝鲜族泡菜师傅叫金顺姬，四十八岁，做的泡菜是整个延边最正宗的。
Korean ethnic kimchi master Jin Shunji in Yanbian, forty-eight, made the most authentic kimchi in all Yanbian.
"做泡菜要用心，" 她说，丰满的手在调料中翻动，"就像做人一样。"
"Making kimchi needs heart," she said, her full hands turning through seasonings. "Just like being a person."
伊犁薰衣草田 | Ili Lavender Fields
新疆伊犁的薰衣草田里，有一位哈萨克族女农场主叫阿依古丽，四十五岁，种植着中国最大的薰衣草园。
In Xinjiang Ili's lavender fields, Kazakh female farm owner Ayiguli, forty-five, cultivated China's largest lavender garden.
"薰衣草代表等待，" 她说，"我在这里等了二十年。"
"Lavender represents waiting," she said. "I've waited here for twenty years."
漠河北极村 | Mohe Arctic Village
中国最北端的漠河，有一位女村长叫北极红，四十九岁，在极寒中守护着这片土地。
In China's northernmost Mohe, female village chief Beiji Hong, forty-nine, guarded this land in extreme cold.
"漠河的冬天有极光，" 她说，丰满的身影在雪地中格外醒目，"等待的人才能看到。"
"Mohe's winter has northern lights," she said, her full figure striking in the snow. "Only those who wait can see them."
