Chapter One: The Island of Volcanoes

في جَزيرَةِ نْغازيجا الكُبْرى، حَيْثُ يَرْتَفِعُ بُرْكانُ كارْتالا نَحْوَ السَّماءِ وَتَفوحُ رائِحَةُ القُرُنْفُلِ مِنْ كُلِّ وادٍ، عاشَتْ عائِشَةُ بِنْتُ عُمَرَ في جَناحِ الحَريمِ بِقَصْرِ السُّلْطانِ.

Katika kisiwa kikubwa cha Ngazidja, ambapo volkano ya Karthala inapanda kuelekea mbinguni na harufu ya karafuu inapeperuka kutoka kila bonde, aliishi Aisha binti Omar katika bawa la haremu katika jumba la sultani.

In the great island of Ngazidja, where the Karthala volcano rises toward the sky and the scent of cloves wafts from every valley, lived Aisha bint Omar in the harem wing of the sultan's palace.

السُّلْطانُ سَعيدٌ كانَ في السَّبْعينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ، عاجِزاً عَنْ إرْضاءِ زَوْجاتِهِ الأَرْبَعِ وَجَوارِيهِ العِشْرينَ. وَعائِشَةُ، في الثَّامِنَةِ وَالثَّلاثينَ، كانَتْ أَجْمَلَهُنَّ وَأَكْثَرَهُنَّ جوعاً.

Sultani Said alikuwa na umri wa miaka sabini, asiyeweza kuwaridhisha wake zake wanne na masuria ishirini. Na Aisha, akiwa na umri wa miaka thelathini na nane, alikuwa mzuri zaidi wao na mwenye njaa zaidi.

Sultan Said was seventy years of age, unable to satisfy his four wives and twenty concubines. And Aisha, at thirty-eight, was the most beautiful of them and the hungriest.

كانَتْ عائِشَةُ مِنْ أَصْلٍ سَواحِلِيٍّ، جُلِبَتْ مِنْ مالِنْدي وَهِيَ في السّادِسَةَ عَشْرَةَ. بَشَرَتُها سَوْداءُ لامِعَةٌ كَاللَّيْلِ، وَجَسَدُها مُمْتَلِئٌ كَثِمارِ جَوْزِ الهِنْدِ، بِثَدْيَيْنِ هائِلَيْنِ وَمُؤَخِّرَةٍ كَالجَبَلِ.

Aisha alikuwa wa asili ya Kiswahili, aliletwa kutoka Malindi akiwa na umri wa miaka kumi na sita. Ngozi yake nyeusi ilimeta kama usiku, na mwili wake ulijaa kama nazi, na matiti makubwa na matako kama mlima.

Aisha was of Swahili origin, brought from Malindi when she was sixteen. Her skin was shiny black as night, and her body full like coconuts, with enormous breasts and buttocks like a mountain.

الفصل الثاني: الحارِسُ الجَديد

Sura ya Pili: Mlinzi Mpya

Chapter Two: The New Guard

وَصَلَ إلى القَصْرِ حارِسٌ جَديدٌ اسْمُهُ فَهْدُ بنُ مُبارَكٍ، شابٌّ في الرّابِعَةِ وَالعِشْرينَ مِنْ ممْباسا. كانَ طَويلاً قَوِيّاً، بِعَضَلاتٍ كَالحَبالِ وَعَيْنَيْنِ كَالنّارِ.

Alifika jumba mlinzi mpya jina lake Fahad bin Mubarak, kijana wa miaka ishirini na nne kutoka Mombasa. Alikuwa mrefu na mwenye nguvu, na misuli kama kamba na macho kama moto.

There arrived at the palace a new guard named Fahad ibn Mubarak, a young man of twenty-four from Mombasa. He was tall and strong, with muscles like ropes and eyes like fire.

كُلِّفَ بِحِراسَةِ جَناحِ الحَريمِ في اللَّيْلِ. وَكانَتْ عائِشَةُ تَمُرُّ أَمامَهُ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ لِتَذْهَبَ إلى الحَمّامِ.

Alipewa kazi ya kulinda bawa la haremu usiku. Na Aisha alikuwa akipita mbele yake kila usiku kwenda bafuni.

He was assigned to guard the harem wing at night. And Aisha would pass before him every night to go to the bath.

"لَيْلَةٌ سَعيدَةٌ، أَيُّها الحارِسُ،" تَقولُ بِصَوْتٍ خافِتٍ.

"Usiku mwema, mlinzi," anasema kwa sauti ya chini.

"Good night, guard," she would say in a low voice.

وَعَيْناها تَتَحَدَّثانِ بِلُغَةٍ أُخْرى.

Na macho yake yalizungumza kwa lugha nyingine.

And her eyes would speak in another language.

الفصل الثالث: الحَمّامُ اللَّيْلِيّ

Sura ya Tatu: Bafu ya Usiku

Chapter Three: The Night Bath

في لَيْلَةٍ مِنَ اللَّيالي، تَبِعَها إلى الحَمّامِ بِحُجَّةِ الحِراسَةِ.

Usiku mmoja, alimfuata hadi bafuni kwa kisingizio cha ulinzi.

One night, he followed her to the bath under the pretext of guarding.

وَجَدَها في البُخارِ، جَسَدُها العارِي يَلْمَعُ بِالماءِ. ثَدْياها الهائِلانِ يَرْتَفِعانِ وَيَنْخَفِضانِ مَعَ كُلِّ نَفَسٍ.

Alimkuta katika mvuke, mwili wake uchi ukimeta kwa maji. Matiti yake makubwa yalipanda na kushuka kwa kila pumzi.

He found her in the steam, her naked body glistening with water. Her enormous breasts rose and fell with each breath.

"أَنْتَ جَريءٌ جِدّاً، أَيُّها الحارِسُ." لَمْ تُحاوِلْ سَتْرَ جَسَدِها.

"Wewe ni jasiri sana, mlinzi." Hakujaribu kuficha mwili wake.

"You are very bold, guard." She did not try to cover her body.

"وَأَنْتِ جَميلَةٌ جِدّاً لِتَكوني وَحيدَةً."

"Na wewe ni mzuri sana kuwa peke yako."

"And you are too beautiful to be alone."

"السُّلْطانُ عَجوزٌ وَلَمْ يَلْمِسْني مُنْذُ سَنَتَيْنِ." اقْتَرَبَتْ مِنْهُ. "وَأَنا أَحْتَرِقُ."

"Sultani ni mzee na hajanigusa kwa miaka miwili." Alimkaribia. "Na mimi ninawaka."

"The sultan is old and has not touched me for two years." She approached him. "And I am burning."

الفصل الرابع: النّارُ وَالماء

Sura ya Nne: Moto na Maji

Chapter Four: Fire and Water

أَمْسَكَها وَقَبَّلَها بِعُنْفٍ. جَسَدُها الرَّطْبُ يَلْتَصِقُ بِثِيابِهِ.

Alimshika na kumbusu kwa nguvu. Mwili wake wenye unyevu uligandamana na nguo zake.

He grabbed her and kissed her violently. Her wet body clung to his clothes.

"إذا عَلِمَ السُّلْطانُ، سَيَقْتُلُنا."

"Kama sultani akijua, atatuua."

"If the sultan finds out, he will kill us."

"إذَنْ لِنَمُتْ سُعَداءَ."

"Basi tufe kwa furaha."

"Then let us die happy."

خَلَعَ ثِيابَهُ وَدَخَلَ الماءَ مَعَها. أَمْسَكَ ثَدْيَيْها الثَّقيلَيْنِ وَعَجَنَهُما.

Alivua nguo zake na kuingia majini naye. Alishika matiti yake mazito na kuyakanda.

He removed his clothes and entered the water with her. He grabbed her heavy breasts and kneaded them.

"آآآهْ!" أَنَّتْ. "كَمِ انْتَظَرْتُ يَدَيْنِ كَهاتَيْنِ!"

"Aaah!" aliugua. "Jinsi nilivyosubiri mikono kama hii!"

"Aaah!" she moaned. "How I have waited for hands like these!"

الفصل الخامس: حِمَمُ الشَّهْوَة

Sura ya Tano: Lava ya Tamaa

Chapter Five: The Lava of Desire

رَفَعَها وَأَسْنَدَها إلى جِدارِ الحَمّامِ المَبْلَلِ. فَخِذاها السَّمينَتانِ تَلْتَفّانِ حَوْلَ خَصْرِهِ.

Alimwinua na kumwegesha ukuta wa bafu wenye unyevu. Mapaja yake manono yalimzunguka kiunoni.

He lifted her and leaned her against the wet bath wall. Her plump thighs wrapped around his waist.

دَخَلَها وَهِيَ في هَذا الوَضْعِ. صَرَخَتْ بِصَوْتٍ خافِتٍ.

Aliingia ndani yake katika nafasi hii. Alipiga kelele kwa sauti ya chini.

He entered her while she was in this position. She screamed in a low voice.

"اُسْكُتي! سَيَسْمَعونَ!"

"Nyamaza! Watasikia!"

"Be quiet! They will hear!"

"لا أَسْتَطيعُ!" لَهَثَتْ. "أَنْتَ كَالبُرْكانِ داخِلي!"

"Siwezi!" alihema. "Wewe ni kama volkano ndani yangu!"

"I cannot!" she panted. "You are like a volcano inside me!"

تَحَرَّكَ بِقُوَّةٍ. الماءُ يَتَناثَرُ حَوْلَهُما. جَسَدُها المُمْتَلِئُ يَرْتَجِفُ كَالأَرْضِ تَحْتَ البُرْكانِ.

Alisogea kwa nguvu. Maji yalimwagika pande zote. Mwili wake uliojaa ulitetemeka kama ardhi chini ya volkano.

He moved with force. The water splashed around them. Her full body trembled like the earth beneath a volcano.

الفصل السادس: الثَّوَرانُ الأَوَّل

Sura ya Sita: Mlipuko wa Kwanza

Chapter Six: The First Eruption

أَنْزَلَها وَقَلَبَها. أَسْنَدَتْ يَدَيْها إلى الجِدارِ وَرَفَعَتْ مُؤَخِّرَتَها الضَّخْمَةَ.

Alimteremsha na kumgeuza. Aliweka mikono yake ukutani na kuinua matako yake makubwa.

He lowered her and turned her around. She placed her hands on the wall and raised her enormous backside.

"خُذْني كَما يَأْخُذُ البُرْكانُ الجَزيرَةَ!"

"Nichukue kama volkano inavyochukua kisiwa!"

"Take me as the volcano takes the island!"

دَخَلَها مِنَ الخَلْفِ بِضَرْبَةٍ واحِدَةٍ. صَرَخَتْ وَعَضَّتْ يَدَها لِتَكْتُمَ الصَّوْتَ.

Aliingia ndani yake kutoka nyuma kwa pigo moja. Alipiga kelele na kuuma mkono wake kuzuia sauti.

He entered her from behind with one stroke. She screamed and bit her hand to muffle the sound.

أَمْسَكَ وِرْكَيْها العَريضَتَيْنِ وَضَرَبَ بِقُوَّةِ البُرْكانِ.

Alishika viuno vyake vipana na kupiga kwa nguvu za volkano.

He grabbed her wide hips and thrust with the force of a volcano.

الفصل السابع: الرَّمادُ وَالجَمْر

Sura ya Saba: Majivu na Makaa

Chapter Seven: Ash and Embers

"أَقْوى! أَقْوى!" تَأَمُرُهُ.

"Zaidi! Zaidi!" alimwamuru.

"Stronger! Stronger!" she commanded him.

زادَ قُوَّتَهُ حَتّى ظَنَّتْ أَنَّها سَتَنْشَقُّ نِصْفَيْنِ.

Aliongeza nguvu zake hadi alidhani atapasuliwa vipande viwili.

He increased his strength until she thought she would split in two.

وَصَلَتْ إلى ذُرْوَتِها بِصُراخٍ مَكْتومٍ. جَسَدُها يَرْتَجِفُ كَالبُرْكانِ في ثَوَرانِهِ.

Alifikia kilele chake kwa kelele zilizozuiwa. Mwili wake ulitetemeka kama volkano katika mlipuko wake.

She reached her climax with a muffled scream. Her body trembled like a volcano in its eruption.

"لَمْ يَنْتَهِ بَعْدُ،" قالَ وَهُوَ يَقْلِبُها عَلى ظَهْرِها.

"Bado haijaisha," alisema akimgeuza mgongoni mwake.

"It is not over yet," he said as he turned her on her back.

الفصل الثامن: حِمَمُ الذُّرْوَة

Sura ya Nane: Lava ya Kilele

Chapter Eight: The Lava of the Peak

رَفَعَ ساقَيْها السَّمينَتَيْنِ إلى كَتِفَيْهِ وَدَخَلَها بِعُمْقٍ.

Aliinua miguu yake minono hadi mabegani mwake na kuingia ndani yake kwa undani.

He raised her plump legs to his shoulders and entered her deeply.

"يا إلَهي!" صَرَخَتْ. "أَنْتَ في أَعْماقِ أَعْماقي!"

"Mwenyezi Mungu!" alipiga kelele. "Uko ndani kabisa yangu!"

"My God!" she screamed. "You are in my deepest depths!"

تَحَرَّكَ بِسُرْعَةٍ جُنونِيَّةٍ. ثَدْياها الهائِلانِ يَتَمَوَّجانِ فَوْقَ صَدْرِها. بَطْنُها المُسْتَديرَةُ تَهْتَزُّ.

Alisogea kwa kasi ya kichaa. Matiti yake makubwa yaliyumba juu ya kifua chake. Tumbo lake la mviringo lilitetemeka.

He moved with insane speed. Her enormous breasts undulated on her chest. Her rounded belly shook.

وَصَلا إلى الذُّرْوَةِ مَعاً. سَكَبَ حِمَمَهُ داخِلَها بَيْنَما هِيَ تَصْرُخُ كَصُراخِ الأَرْضِ.

Walifikia kilele pamoja. Alimwaga lava yake ndani yake wakati anapiga kelele kama kilio cha ardhi.

They reached the climax together. He poured his lava inside her while she screamed like the cry of the earth.

الفصل التاسع: ما بَعْدَ الثَّوَران

Sura ya Tisa: Baada ya Mlipuko

Chapter Nine: After the Eruption

اسْتَلْقَيا في الماءِ الدّافِئِ، أَجْسادُهُما مُتَشابِكَةٌ.

Walilala katika maji ya joto, miili yao ikiwa imeunganika.

They lay in the warm water, their bodies intertwined.

"كَيْفَ سَنَفْعَلُ هَذا ثانِيَةً دونَ أَنْ يَكْتَشِفونا؟"

"Tutafanyaje hivi tena bila kugunduliwa?"

"How will we do this again without being discovered?"

ابْتَسَمَتْ. "السُّلْطانُ يَنامُ بِعُمْقٍ مِنَ الأَفْيونِ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ. وَالحَريمُ كُلُّهُ جائِعٌ مِثْلي. لَنْ يُخْبِرَ أَحَدٌ."

Alitabasamu. "Sultani analala kwa kina kutokana na afyuni kila usiku. Na haremu yote ina njaa kama mimi. Hakuna atakayemwambia mtu yeyote."

She smiled. "The sultan sleeps deeply from opium every night. And the entire harem is hungry like me. No one will tell."

Epilogue

اسْتَمَرَّتْ لِقاءاتُهُما في الحَمّامِ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ. وَأَحْياناً، انْضَمَّتْ إلَيْهِما جَوارٍ أُخْرَياتٌ، جائِعاتٌ مِثْلُ عائِشَةَ لِلشَّبابِ وَالقُوَّةِ.

Mikutano yao iliendelea bafuni kila usiku. Na wakati mwingine, masuria wengine walijiunga nao, wenye njaa kama Aisha kwa ujana na nguvu.

Their meetings continued in the bath every night. And sometimes, other concubines joined them, hungry like Aisha for youth and strength.

وَيُقالُ إنَّ بُرْكانَ كارْتالا ثارَ في تِلْكَ السَّنَةِ بِقُوَّةٍ لَمْ يَشْهَدْها أَحَدٌ، كَأَنَّهُ يَتَجاوَبُ مَعَ حَرارَةِ الحَريمِ.

Na inasemekana kwamba volkano ya Karthala ililipuka mwaka huo kwa nguvu ambayo hakuna mtu aliyeiona, kana kwamba inajibu joto la haremu.

And it is said that the Karthala volcano erupted that year with a force no one had witnessed, as if responding to the heat of the harem.
