Mke wa Mkulima wa Mwani wa Ras Nungwi

The Seaweed Farmer's Wife of Ras Nungwi

Sura ya Kwanza: Ncha ya Kisiwa

Chapter One: The Tip of the Island

In Ras Nungwi, where the island of Zanzibar ends in the sea and women farm seaweed in shallow waters, lived Buthaina bint Salih with her farmer husband.

Her husband is a silent man who spends his days at sea. Buthaina was thirty-six, full of life, hungry for what her husband does not give her.

Her body was full as waves, her skin bronze from the sun, her large breasts swaying like the ebb and flow, her hips wide as the Nungwi beach.

Sura ya Pili: Mwanabiolojia wa Bahari

Chapter Two: The Marine Biologist

There came from the mainland a young scientist named Anas ibn Murad, twenty-seven years of age. He was studying seaweed and its effect on the environment.

"Ninahitaji mwongozaji anayenijulisha mashamba," alisema.

"I need a guide to introduce me to the farms," he said.

"Mke wangu atakusaidia," alisema mkulima. "Anajua kila kitu kuhusu mwani."

"My wife will help you," said the farmer. "She knows everything about seaweed."

Buthaina alimtazama kijana mzuri. Alitabasamu tabasamu pana.

Buthaina looked at the handsome young man. She smiled a wide smile.

Sura ya Tatu: Kupwa na Kujaa

Chapter Three: The Ebb and Flow

Asubuhi na mapema, alimpeleka mashambani. Maji yamepwa, na mwani unaonekana.

In the early morning, she took him to the farms. The tide was low, and the seaweed was exposed.

"Seaweed grows with patience," she said as she bent to show him. Her wet garment clung to her body.

Aliona mikunjo ya mwili wake. Matiti yake makubwa yakidondoka, matako yake mapana.

He saw the curves of her body. Her large breasts hanging down, her wide buttocks.

"Vitu vingine vinakua haraka pia," alisema akimtazama.

"Some things grow quickly too," he said as he looked at her.

Sura ya Nne: Maji ya Joto

Chapter Four: The Warm Waters

"Kuna mahali maalum lazima uone," alisema. "Ambapo mwani adimu unakua."

"There is a special place you must see," she said. "Where the rarest seaweed grows."

Alimwongoza hadi bwawa la mawe lililojitenga. Maji yalikuwa ya joto na safi.

She led him to an isolated rock pool. The waters were warm and clear.

"Maji yanafanya upya maisha."

"Here I bathe after work," she said as she removed her garment. "The waters renew life."

Aliingia majini. Mwili wake uliojaa ulielea kama mwani.

She entered the water. Her full body floated like seaweed.

Sura ya Tano: Kuogelea

Chapter Five: The Swimming

"Njoo," alimwalika. "Maji ni ya joto."

"Come," she invited him. "The waters are warm."

He removed his clothes and entered. He felt the warmth of the water on his skin.

Aliogelea kwake.

She swam toward him. Her breasts floated on the water's surface.

"Hata dhambi."

"In the water, everything is lighter," she whispered. "Even sins."

Sura ya Sita: Mkondo

Chapter Six: The Current

She held him and wrapped her legs around him under the water.

"Ninahisi mkondo wenye nguvu," alisema.

"I feel a strong current," he said.

"Huo si mkondo." Alijiteremsha juu yake. "Ni mimi."

"That is not the current." She lowered herself onto him. "That is me."

He entered her beneath the surface of the warm water.

"Aaah!" aliugua. "Maji yanajaa!"

"Aaah!" she moaned. "The tide is rising!"

Sura ya Saba: Mawimbi

Chapter Seven: The Waves

Walisogea pamoja majini. Miili yao iliyumba kama mwani katika mkondo.

They moved together in the water. Their bodies undulated like seaweed in the current.

"Zaidi!" alihema. "Kama mawimbi!"

"Stronger!" she panted. "Like waves!"

Her large breasts floated and sank with their movement.

Alimuinua na kumwegesha mwamba. Aliingia ndani yake kwa nguvu zaidi.

He lifted her and leaned her against a rock. He entered her with greater force.

"Ndiyo! Ndiyo!" alipiga kelele. Sauti yake ilirindima juu ya maji.

"Yes! Yes!" she screamed. Her voice echoed over the water.

Sura ya Nane: Maji ya Juu

Chapter Eight: The High Tide

Aliongeza kasi yake. Maji yalimwagika pande zote.

He increased his speed. Water splashed around them.

"Maji yamefika!" alipiga kelele. "Maji yamefika!"

"The tide is arriving!" she screamed. "The tide is arriving!"

Walifikia kilele pamoja.

They reached the climax together. They screamed with one voice mixing with the sound of waves.

Alimwaga ndani yake kama bahari inavyomwaga ufuoni.

He poured into her as the sea pours on the shore.

Hitimisho

Epilogue

Anas completed his study, but he returned to Nungwi many times.

And it is said that his most important discoveries about seaweed were not published in any scientific journal, for some knowledge is transferred only from body to body.
