في تاكْوا، المَدينَةِ المَهْجورَةِ قُرْبَ لامو، عاشَتْ عائِلَةٌ واحِدَةٌ تَحْرُسُ الآثارَ. كانَ الأَبُ بَنّاءً يُرَمِّمُ المَسْجِدَ القَديمَ، وَابْنَتُهُ آمِنَةُ تُساعِدُهُ.
In Takwa, the abandoned city near Lamu, one family lived guarding the ruins. The father was a builder who restored the old mosque, and his daughter Amina helped him.
كانَتْ آمِنَةُ في الثّالِثَةِ وَالعِشْرينَ مِنْ عُمْرِها، امْرَأَةً سَواحِلِيَّةً لَمْ تَرَ الكَثيرَ مِنَ العالَمِ. بَشَرَتُها سَمْراءُ نَقِيَّةٌ، وَعَيْناها بَريئَتانِ لكِنَّهُما مُشْتاقَتانِ. جَسَدُها مُمْتَلِئٌ في ريعانِ الشَّبابِ، بِثَدْيَيْنِ مُرْتَفِعَيْنِ وَخَصْرٍ ضَيِّقٍ وَوِرْكَيْنِ واسِعَتَيْنِ.
Amina was twenty-three years of age, a Swahili woman who had not seen much of the world. Her skin was pure brown, and her eyes were innocent but longing. Her body was full in the bloom of youth, with high breasts, a narrow waist, and wide hips.
الفصل الثاني: المُسافِر
Chapter Two: The Traveler
جاءَ يَوْماً مُسافِرٌ مِنْ مَسْقَطَ اسْمُهُ ناصِرُ بنُ خالِدٍ. كانَ في الثّانِيَةِ وَالثَّلاثينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ، باحِثٌ عَنْ أَسْرارِ المُدُنِ القَديمَةِ.
One day came a traveler from Muscat named Nasir ibn Khalid. He was thirty-two years of age, a seeker of the secrets of ancient cities.
"أُريدُ أَنْ أَدْرُسَ المَسْجِدَ،" قالَ لِأَبيها.
"I want to study the mosque," he said to her father.
"اِبْقَ مَعَنا. ابْنَتي سَتُريكَ الخَرائِبَ."
"Stay with us. My daughter will show you the ruins."
نَظَرَ ناصِرٌ إلى آمِنَةَ. لَمْ يَتَوَقَّعْ أَنْ يَجِدَ كَنْزاً حَيّاً في هَذِهِ الأَطْلالِ.
Nasir looked at Amina. He did not expect to find a living treasure in these ruins.
الفصل الثالث: الجَوْلَة
Chapter Three: The Tour
في اليَوْمِ التّالي، أَخَذَتْهُ في جَوْلَةٍ بَيْنَ الخَرائِبِ.
The next day, she took him on a tour through the ruins.
"هُنا كانَتْ بُيوتُ التُّجّارِ،" قالَتْ. "وَهُنا قَصْرُ الحاكِمِ."
"Here were the merchants' houses," she said. "And here the ruler's palace."
"وَأَنْتِ؟ هَلْ تَعيشينَ وَحْدَكِ هُنا؟"
"And you? Do you live alone here?"
"مَعَ أَبي. لَمْ أَرَ رَجُلاً غَريباً مُنْذُ سَنَواتٍ."
"With my father. I have not seen a strange man for years."
"أَنا سَعيدٌ أَنَّني أَوَّلُ غَريبٍ تَرَيْنَهُ."
"I am happy that I am the first stranger you see."
الفصل الرابع: السِّرّ
Chapter Four: The Secret
"هَلْ تُريدُ أَنْ تَرى مَكاناً لا يَعْرِفُهُ أَحَدٌ؟" سَأَلَتْهُ.
"Do you want to see a place no one knows?" she asked him.
"بِالتَّأْكيدِ."
"Certainly."
أَخَذَتْهُ إلى غُرْفَةٍ تَحْتَ الأَرْضِ خَلْفَ المَسْجِدِ.
She took him to an underground room behind the mosque.
"هُنا كانَ الحاكِمُ يَخْتَبِئُ مَعَ جَوارِيهِ."
"Here the ruler would hide with his concubines."
"وَأَنْتِ؟ هَلْ تَخْتَبِئينَ هُنا؟"
"And you? Do you hide here?"
"أَحْياناً. حينَ أُريدُ أَنْ أَكونَ وَحْدي." نَظَرَتْ إلَيْهِ. "أَوْ لَسْتُ وَحْدي."
"Sometimes. When I want to be alone." She looked at him. "Or not alone."
الفصل الخامس: الكَشْف
Chapter Five: The Revelation
في ضَوْءِ الشَّمْعَةِ، اقْتَرَبَتْ مِنْهُ.
In the candlelight, she approached him.
"لَمْ يَلْمِسْني رَجُلٌ أَبَداً،" هَمَسَتْ. "عَلِّمْني."
"No man has ever touched me," she whispered. "Teach me."
قَبَّلَها بِرِفْقٍ. شَفَتاها بَريئَتانِ لكِنَّهُما جائِعَتانِ.
He kissed her gently. Her lips were innocent but hungry.
بَدَأَ يَخْلَعُ ثَوْبَها. ظَهَرَ جَسَدُها الشّابُّ المُمْتَلِئُ في ضَوْءِ الشَّمْعَةِ.
He began to remove her garment. Her young full body appeared in the candlelight.
الفصل السادس: التَّعْليم
Chapter Six: The Teaching
ثَدْياها مُرْتَفِعانِ صَلْبانِ بِحَلَماتٍ بُنِّيَّةٍ صَغيرَةٍ. بَطْنُها مُسَطَّحَةٌ ناعِمَةٌ. وِرْكاها واسِعَتانِ.
Her breasts were high and firm with small brown nipples. Her belly flat and soft. Her hips wide.
"أَنْتِ جَميلَةٌ،" هَمَسَ.
"You are beautiful," he whispered.
"عَلِّمْني كُلَّ شَيْءٍ."
"Teach me everything."
وَضَعَها عَلى الأَرْضِ القَديمَةِ وَنَزَلَ بَيْنَ فَخِذَيْها.
He laid her on the ancient ground and descended between her thighs.
"سَأَبْدَأُ هُنا."
"I will start here."
الفصل السابع: الاكْتِشاف
Chapter Seven: The Discovery
لَمَسَ لِسانُهُ زَهْرَتَها لِأَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ. صَرَخَتْ مِنَ اللَّذَّةِ الجَديدَةِ.
His tongue touched her flower for the first time. She screamed from the new pleasure.
"ما هَذا؟" لَهَثَتْ.
"What is this?" she panted.
"هَذا أَوَّلُ دَرْسٍ."
"This is the first lesson."
لَعِقَها بِرِفْقٍ ثُمَّ بِشَغَفٍ. جَسَدُها البِكْرُ يَرْتَجِفُ.
He licked her gently then with passion. Her virgin body trembled.
وَصَلَتْ إلى ذُرْوَتِها الأولى في حَياتِها. صَرَخَتْ وَالجُدْرانُ القَديمَةُ تَشْهَدُ.
She reached her first climax in her life. She screamed and the ancient walls witnessed.
الفصل الثامن: الدُّخول
Chapter Eight: The Entry
"الآنَ الدَّرْسُ الثّاني،" قالَ وَخَلَعَ ثِيابَهُ.
"Now the second lesson," he said and removed his clothes.
رَأَتْ ذَكَرَهُ لِأَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ. عَيْناها اتَّسَعَتا.
She saw his member for the first time. Her eyes widened.
"لا تَخافي. سَأَكونُ رَفيقاً."
"Do not fear. I will be gentle."
دَخَلَها بِبُطْءٍ شَديدٍ. شَعَرَتْ بِالألَمِ ثُمَّ بِاللَّذَّةِ.
He entered her very slowly. She felt pain then pleasure.
"آهْ!" أَنَّتْ وَلَفَّتْ ساقَيْها حَوْلَهُ.
"Ah!" she moaned and wrapped her legs around him.
الفصل التاسع: الذُّرْوَة
Chapter Nine: The Climax
تَحَرَّكَ داخِلَها بِرِفْقٍ في البِدايَةِ، ثُمَّ بِشَغَفٍ مُتَصاعِدٍ.
He moved inside her gently at first, then with ascending passion.
"أَكْثَرُ!" طَلَبَتْ. "أُريدُ أَكْثَرُ!"
"More!" she demanded. "I want more!"
زادَ إيقاعَهُ. جَسَداهُما يَتَحَرَّكانِ في انْسِجامٍ.
He increased his rhythm. Their bodies moved in harmony.
وَصَلا إلى الذُّرْوَةِ مَعاً. صَرَخا وَأَصْداءُ صَوْتَيْهِما تَتَرَدَّدُ في الخَرائِبِ.
They reached the climax together. They screamed and the echoes of their voices reverberated in the ruins.
الخاتِمَة
Epilogue
بَقِيَ ناصِرٌ في تاكْوا أَشْهُراً. وَفي النِّهايَةِ طَلَبَ يَدَ آمِنَةَ مِنْ أَبيها.
Nasir stayed in Takwa for months. And finally he asked Amina's father for her hand.
"وَجَدْتُ كَنْزاً في هَذِهِ الخَرائِبِ،" قالَ لِلأَبِ.
"I found a treasure in these ruins," he said to the father.
وافَقَ الأَبُ. وَيُقالُ إنَّ ناصِراً أَخَذَ آمِنَةَ إلى مَسْقَطَ، حَيْثُ أَصْبَحَتْ سَيِّدَةً عَظيمَةً. لكِنَّها كانَتْ تَعودُ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ إلى تاكْوا، إلى الغُرْفَةِ السِّرِّيَّةِ تَحْتَ المَسْجِدِ.
The father agreed. And it is said that Nasir took Amina to Muscat, where she became a great lady. But she would return every year to Takwa, to the secret room under the mosque.
