الفصل الأول | Chapter One
أَعْمَلُ كَكُومْبَارْسٍ فِي أَسْتُودْيُوهَاتِ وَرْزَازَاتَ.
I work as an extra in the Ouarzazate studios.
رَأَيْتُ نُجُومَ هُولِيوُود يَأْتُونَ وَيَذْهَبُونَ.
I've seen Hollywood stars come and go.
لَكِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مُخْتَلِفَةً.
But she was different.
الفصل الثاني | Chapter Two
مُمَثِّلَةٌ فِي السِّتِّينَ، لَا تَزَالُ جَمِيلَةً.
An actress in her sixties, still beautiful.
جَسَدُهَا مُمْتَلِئٌ، لَكِنَّ عُيُونَهَا حَزِينَةٌ.
Her body full, but her eyes sad.
"أَنَا هُنَا لِأَهْرُبَ مِنْ هُولِيوُود."
"I am here to escape Hollywood."
الفصل الثالث | Chapter Three
وَظِيفَتِي أَنْ أَحْضُرَ لَهَا الشَّايَ بَيْنَ المَشَاهِدِ.
My job was to bring her tea between scenes.
"شُكْرًا، يَا... مَا اسْمُكَ؟"
"Thank you, uh... what's your name?"
"سَعِيدٌ، يَا سَيِّدَتِي."
"Said, madam."
الفصل الرابع | Chapter Four
"لَا تُنَادِنِي سَيِّدَتِي... أَشْعُرُنِي بِالشَّيْخُوخَةِ."
"Don't call me madam... it makes me feel old."
"فَكَيْفَ أُنَادِيكِ؟"
"Then what should I call you?"
"صَدِيقَتُكَ... إِذَا سَمَحْتَ."
"Your friend... if you allow."
الفصل الخامس | Chapter Five
بَدَأَتْ تَطْلُبُنِي بِالاِسْمِ.
She started asking for me by name.
"أُرِيدُ سَعِيدًا فَقَطْ."
"I want only Said."
المُخْرِجُ اسْتَغْرَبَ لَكِنَّهُ وَافَقَ.
The director was surprised but agreed.
الفصل السادس | Chapter Six
ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، دَعَتْنِي إِلَى غُرْفَتِهَا.
One night, she invited me to her room.
"أَشْعُرُ بِالوَحْدَةِ فِي هَذِهِ الصَّحْرَاءِ..."
"I feel lonely in this desert..."
"وَأَنَا مَعَكِ، لَسْتِ وَحْدَكِ."
"And I am with you, you are not alone."
الفصل السابع | Chapter Seven
فِي فُنْدُقِ الصَّحْرَاءِ الفَاخِرِ.
In the luxury desert hotel.
اكْتَشَفَتْ أَنَّ الحُبَّ لَا يَحْتَاجُ كَامِيرَا.
She discovered that love doesn't need a camera.
"جَسَدُكَ حَقِيقِيٌّ... لَيْسَ كَالأَفْلَامِ."
"Your body is real... not like the movies."
الفصل الثامن | Chapter Eight
اِنْتَهَى الفِيلْمُ لَكِنَّهَا بَقِيَتْ.
The film ended but she stayed.
اِشْتَرَتْ رِيَاضًا فِي القَصْبَةِ.
She bought a riad in the kasbah.
"سَعِيدٌ، أُرِيدُكَ أَنْ تَبْقَى مَعِي."
"Said, I want you to stay with me."
الخاتمة | Conclusion
أَنَا الآنَ مُدِيرُ رِيَاضِهَا.
I am now the manager of her riad.
وَفِي اللَّيْلِ، أَنَا نَجْمُهَا الحَقِيقِيُّ.
And at night, I am her real star.
الحُبُّ لَا يَعْرِفُ أَضْوَاءَ الشُّهْرَةِ.
Love knows no spotlights.
