The Pilgrimage to Moulay Idriss
الفصل الأول | Chapter One
أَمْلِكُ دَارَ ضِيَافَةٍ فِي مَوْلَاي إِدْرِيسَ.
I own a guesthouse in Moulay Idriss.
جَاءَتْ بَاحِثَةً عَنِ السَّلَامِ الرُّوحِيِّ.
She came seeking spiritual peace.
"سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ هَذَا المَكَانُ مُقَدَّسٌ."
"I heard this place is sacred."
الفصل الثاني | Chapter Two
كَانَتْ فِي الخَمْسِينَ، بِعُيُونٍ تَبْحَثُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ.
She was in her fifties, with eyes searching for something.
"المَكَانُ مُقَدَّسٌ لِمَنْ يُؤْمِنُ."
"The place is sacred for those who believe."
"أَنَا أُؤْمِنُ... لَكِنَّنِي ضَائِعَةٌ."
"I believe... but I am lost."
الفصل الثالث | Chapter Three
أَخَذْتُهَا إِلَى ضَرِيحِ مَوْلَاي إِدْرِيسَ.
I took her to the shrine of Moulay Idriss.
"هُنَا يَجِدُ النَّاسُ السَّكِينَةَ."
"Here people find tranquility."
وَقَفَتْ وَدُمُوعُهَا تَسِيلُ.
She stood with tears flowing.
الفصل الرابع | Chapter Four
"زَوْجِي مَاتَ قَبْلَ سَنَةٍ... جِئْتُ أَبْحَثُ عَنِ السَّلَامِ."
"My husband died a year ago... I came seeking peace."
"السَّلَامُ يَأْتِي مِنَ الدَّاخِلِ."
"Peace comes from within."
"سَاعِدْنِي فِي إِيجَادِهِ."
"Help me find it."
الفصل الخامس | Chapter Five
قَضَيْنَا أَيَّامًا نَتَجَوَّلُ فِي المَدِينَةِ.
We spent days wandering the city.
"لِمَاذَا أَنْتَ لَطِيفٌ مَعِي؟"
"Why are you kind to me?"
"لِأَنَّنِي أَعْرِفُ الوَحْدَةَ أَيْضًا."
"Because I know loneliness too."
الفصل السادس | Chapter Six
"زَوْجَتُكَ؟"
"Your wife?"
"تَرَكَتْنِي قَبْلَ عَشْرِ سَنَوَاتٍ."
"She left me ten years ago."
"إِذَنْ نَحْنُ جَرِيحَانِ مَعًا."
"Then we are both wounded."
الفصل السابع | Chapter Seven
تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ، عَلَى سَطْحِ الدَّارِ.
That night, on the rooftop.
تَحْتَ نُجُومٍ تُضِيءُ المَدِينَةَ المُقَدَّسَةَ.
Under stars illuminating the holy city.
"رُبَّمَا الشِّفَاءُ يَأْتِي مِنْ شَخْصٍ آخَرَ."
"Perhaps healing comes from another person."
الفصل الثامن | Chapter Eight
بَقِيَتْ شَهْرًا كَامِلًا.
She stayed a whole month.
وَجَدَتِ السَّلَامَ الَّذِي تَبْحَثُ عَنْهُ.
She found the peace she was seeking.
"السَّلَامُ لَيْسَ مَكَانًا... السَّلَامُ أَنْتَ."
"Peace is not a place... peace is you."
الخاتمة | Conclusion
مَوْلَاي إِدْرِيسُ مَكَانٌ لِلشِّفَاءِ.
Moulay Idriss is a place for healing.
جَاءَتْ تَبْحَثُ عَنِ اللهِ.
She came seeking God.
وَوَجَدَتِ الحُبَّ أَيْضًا.
And found love too.
