The Mint Tea Master of Marrakech
Chapter One
I have prepared Moroccan tea for fifty years.
In my riad I receive guests.
A tea expert came from Tokyo.
Chapter Two
She was in her fifties, understanding tea language.
"Your tea is an art like ours!"
"Yes... sacred rituals."
Chapter Three
I showed her how I pour tea from height.
"Why from height?"
"To mix flavors... and for the guest to see respect."
Chapter Four
She tasted my tea.
"This is the best tea I've ever drunk!"
"The secret is in the mint... and in the heart."
Chapter Five
"Your heart?"
"Yes... I prepare tea with love."
"And for whom is this love?"
Chapter Six
"It was for my wife... she died five years ago."
"And now?"
"Now... I pour it for you."
Chapter Seven
That night, among tea vapors.
"Your body is warm like tea."
"And you are sweet like sugar."
Chapter Eight
She wrote a book about Moroccan tea.
And my riad on the cover.
"Love tea... a cup that never empties."
Conclusion
Tea brings people together.
And our cup brought two hearts together.
Three cups: life, love, death.
And we are in the second cup.
