The Valley Guide of Dades
الفصل الأول | Chapter One
أَنَا دَلِيلَةٌ فِي وَادِي دَادِسَ مُنْذُ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً.
I have been a guide in Dades Valley for twenty years.
جَاءَ مُصَوِّرٌ يُرِيدُ صُوَرًا لِلْوَادِي.
A photographer came wanting pictures of the valley.
"أُرِيدُ الأَمَاكِنَ السِّرِّيَّةَ."
"I want the secret places."
الفصل الثاني | Chapter Two
كَانَ فِي الخَمْسِينَ، بِلِحْيَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ وَكَامِيرَا كَبِيرَةٍ.
He was in his fifties, with a white beard and a big camera.
"الأَمَاكِنُ السِّرِّيَّةُ تَحْتَاجُ ثِقَةً."
"Secret places need trust."
"أَنَا أَثِقُ بِكِ."
"I trust you."
الفصل الثالث | Chapter Three
أَخَذْتُهُ إِلَى أَعْمَاقِ الوَادِي.
I took him to the depths of the valley.
حَيْثُ الصُّخُورُ الحَمْرَاءُ تَعْنُقُ السَّمَاءَ.
Where the red rocks embrace the sky.
"هَذَا أَجْمَلُ مَكَانٍ رَأَيْتُهُ!"
"This is the most beautiful place I've seen!"
الفصل الرابع | Chapter Four
بَدَأَ يُصَوِّرُ الجِبَالَ وَالصُّخُورَ.
He started photographing mountains and rocks.
ثُمَّ وَجَّهَ الكَامِيرَا إِلَيَّ.
Then he pointed the camera at me.
"أَنْتِ أَجْمَلُ مِنَ الوَادِي."
"You are more beautiful than the valley."
الفصل الخامس | Chapter Five
"أَنَا فِي الخَمْسِينَ... وَلَسْتُ عَارِضَةً."
"I am in my fifties... and not a model."
"الجَمَالُ الحَقِيقِيُّ لَا يَحْتَاجُ شَبَابًا."
"True beauty doesn't need youth."
"يَحْتَاجُ رُوحًا... وَرُوحُكِ سَاحِرَةٌ."
"It needs a soul... and your soul is enchanting."
الفصل السادس | Chapter Six
تَحْتَ شَجَرَةِ لَوْزٍ، جَلَسْنَا.
Under an almond tree, we sat.
"زَوْجَتِي مَاتَتْ قَبْلَ خَمْسِ سَنَوَاتٍ."
"My wife died five years ago."
"وَزَوْجِي تَرَكَنِي قَبْلَ عَشْرٍ."
"And my husband left me ten years ago."
الفصل السابع | Chapter Seven
فِي كَهْفٍ صَغِيرٍ، بَعِيدًا عَنِ العَالَمِ.
In a small cave, far from the world.
وَجَدْنَا دِفْئًا لَمْ نَعْرِفْهُ مُنْذُ سَنَوَاتٍ.
We found warmth we hadn't known in years.
"جَسَدُكِ كَالوَادِي... عَمِيقٌ وَجَمِيلٌ."
"Your body is like the valley... deep and beautiful."
الفصل الثامن | Chapter Eight
بَقِيَ أُسْبُوعًا كَامِلاً يُصَوِّرُ.
He stayed a whole week photographing.
وَكُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ كَانَ يُصَوِّرُنِي بِعُيُونِهِ.
And every night he photographed me with his eyes.
"أَجْمَلُ صُورَةٍ لَنْ أَنْشُرَهَا... صُورَتُكِ فِي قَلْبِي."
"The most beautiful picture I won't publish... your picture in my heart."
الخاتمة | Conclusion
الوَادِي يَحْفَظُ أَسْرَارًا كَثِيرَةً.
The valley keeps many secrets.
وَنَحْنُ أَضَفْنَا سِرًّا جَدِيدًا.
And we added a new secret.
حُبًّا وُلِدَ بَيْنَ الصُّخُورِ الحَمْرَاءِ.
A love born among the red rocks.
