The hotel on the Kinneret had seen better days. So had Ayelet.

Night on the hotel roof. The Kinneret silver in moonlight.

"את אמיצה." "You're brave."
"לא. פשוט לא הייתה לי ברירה." "No. I just had no choice."

His room became their refuge.
"!זה לא מקצועי" she protested weakly. "This isn't professional!"

The week became a month. Then two.

"אני לא יודע לאן ללכת." "I don't know where to go."
