She laughed. First time in months.

His name was Ayal. Married. Unhappy.
"?את?" "And you?"

"?כאן?" "Here?"

Rain. The practice continued. The parents huddled under the awning.
"?את רוצה קפה?" "Do you want coffee?"
"מאיפה יש פה קפה?" "Where's there coffee here?"
"יש לי תרמוס במכונית." "I have a thermos in the car."
"אז כן." "Then yes."
פרק רביעי | Chapter Four
In his car. Rain on the windows. No one could see.
"!זה משוגע!" she whispered. "This is crazy!"
"הדבר הכי שפוי שעשיתי השנה." "The sanest thing I've done this year."
"!הילדים בחוץ!" "The kids are outside!"
"האימון עוד שעה." "Practice is another hour."

The season ended. So did they.
"?זה היה טעות?" "Was this a mistake?"
"זה היה מה שהיינו צריכים." "It was what we needed."
"?ועכשיו?" "And now?"
