The Storm Caller
Chapter One: The Strange Gift
In a small village on the Batinah coast, a child was born on a night of terrible storm. They named him "Ra'd" (Thunder) because thunder accompanied his first cry.
Since childhood, Ra'd would feel storms before they came. He would say: "Tomorrow a strong wind will blow," and it would indeed blow.
The fishermen began asking him before every voyage: "O Ra'd, is the sea safe?"

Chapter Two: The Greedy Merchant
A rich merchant named Faisal came to the village. He bought the fishermen's fish at meager prices and sold them at multiples.
Ra'd said to the fishermen: "Do not sell to him! He is robbing you!"
Faisal was angry and said: "This boy is ruining my trade! I shall teach him a lesson!"
He devised a plan to destroy Ra'd: he sent him with a group on a fishing trip, knowing a storm would hit them.
Chapter Three: In the Heart of the Storm
Ra'd sensed the danger too late. They were in the middle of the sea when the storm came.
But he did something he had never done before: he closed his eyes and spoke to the storm!
He whispered: "O my sister storm, I am the son of the night you were born. Let us pass!"
As if a miracle happened: the waves calmed around their boat, while the storm continued raging around them!
Chapter Four: Divine Justice
They returned safely. As for Faisal's ship that was also at sea, it sank with everything in it!
Faisal survived, but lost all his wealth. He came to Ra'd pleading: "Forgive me! I was unjust!"
Ra'd said: "The sea does not forget. But I shall help you if you repent."
Faisal became an ordinary fisherman working with the villagers, and Ra'd became the village guardian who protected it from the sea's wrath.
