The Mountain Roses

Chapter One: The Ancestors' Legacy

In the village of Sayq on the Green Mountain, the Al-Sa'id family lived. They had been cultivating Damask roses for three hundred years.

The grandfather told his grandson Abdullah: "These roses are a trust, my child. Our ancestors brought them from Persia, and you must preserve them."

But Abdullah wanted to travel to the city. He said: "Roses do not feed, grandfather!"

Chapter Two: The Deadly Drought

A harsh summer came. Most mountain farms dried up. But the Al-Sa'id roses stayed alive thanks to an ancient secret the grandfather knew.

The grandfather suddenly fell ill. He told Abdullah: "The secret is in the hidden spring beneath the big rock. Do not let the roses die!"

The grandfather died, and Abdullah was alone with the roses.

Chapter Three: Discovery and Loyalty

Abdullah found the secret spring and saved the roses. When he saw people coming from everywhere to buy the precious rose water, he understood the value of his ancestors' legacy.

He married and had children whom he taught the secret of the roses. To this day, the Al-Sa'id roses bloom on the Green Mountain, witnessing the loyalty of generations.
