The Book of Secrets
Chapter One: The Ancient Manuscript
In Nizwa's ancient library, there was a book no one touched. Its cover was black leather, and its pages were yellow as gold.
The librarian said: "This is the Book of Secrets. In it is the wisdom of a thousand years. But whoever opens it without deserving finds its pages blank!"
Many came to open it: scholars, princes, and merchants. But they all found empty pages.
Chapter Two: The Humble Girl
One day, a poor girl named Noura came. She was a servant in the library, cleaning books.
She asked shyly: "May I see the book?"
People laughed: "You are an ignorant servant! How will you understand what scholars failed to?"
But the librarian allowed her. He said: "Wisdom does not discriminate."
Chapter Three: The Wondrous Revelation
Noura opened the book... and saw the words! Pages filled with wisdom, stories, and knowledge!
Everyone cried: "Impossible! How does she see it when we did not?"
Noura read the first line: "The first secret: Wisdom does not open to the arrogant. Only the humble heart sees the light."
Chapter Four: The Heir of Wisdom
Noura read the entire book. She found in it the knowledge of medicine, astronomy, agriculture, and governance.
The poor girl became the wisest woman in Oman. The Imam sought her counsel, and scholars came to learn from her.
She said: "I am not clever. But I was humble, so God opened the doors of wisdom for me."
