פרק ראשון | Chapter One
Netivot. City of the Baba Sali. City of faith.
"?את באה להילולה?" asked the man at the kiosk. "Are you coming to the hillula?"
"כל שנה." "Every year."
"?את מאמינה?" "Do you believe?"
"?מה זאת שאלה?" "What kind of question is that?"
פרק שני | Chapter Two
His name was Kobi. Teacher. Came to Netivot for work.
"אני לא דתי," he admitted. "I'm not religious."
"?אז מה אתה עושה בנתיבות?" "So what are you doing in Netivot?"
"מלמד ילדים." "Teaching children."
"?ילדים דתיים?" "Religious children?"
"ילדים זה ילדים." "Children are children."
פרק שלישי | Chapter Three
She helped at the school. He noticed her.
"את מיוחדת," he said one day. "You're special."
"!אני דתייה! אנחנו לא מדברים ככה" "I'm religious! We don't talk like that!"
"?מדברים איך?" "Talk how?"
"ישירות." "Directly."
פרק רביעי | Chapter Four
At the Baba Sali's grave. She prayed for guidance.
"הרב, מה אני עושה? הוא לא שלנו."
"Rabbi, what do I do? He's not one of ours."
No answer. But her heart knew.
פרק חמישי | Chapter Five
She chose. He stayed in Netivot. For her.
"?אתה תשמור שבת?" "Will you keep Shabbat?"
"אני אנסה." "I'll try."
"?וכשרות?" "And kashrut?"
"אם זה חשוב לך, זה חשוב לי." "If it's important to you, it's important to me."
הסוף | The End
בנתיבות, האמונה חזקה. אבל לפעמים, האמונה הכי גדולה היא להאמין באדם אחר.
In Netivot, faith is strong. But sometimes, the greatest faith is believing in another person.
