Jerusalem Stone

פרק ראשון | Chapter One

The Western Wall Tunnels held two thousand years of secrets. Professor David Levi held his own.

"נעמה, בואי תראי את זה." "Naama, come see this."

She crawled through the narrow passage, her body brushing against ancient stone.

"זה מדהים," she whispered. "This is amazing."

"כמוך." His voice was low. "Like you."

פרק שני | Chapter Two

"פרופסור, אתה נשוי." "Professor, you're married."

"אני יודע." "I know."

"אז למה אתה מסתכל עליי ככה?" "So why are you looking at me like that?"

"כי יש דברים שאי אפשר לעצור. כמו היסטוריה." "Because some things can't be stopped. Like history."

The tunnel was cool, quiet. Only their breathing echoed off stones that had witnessed empires rise and fall.

פרק שלישי | Chapter Three

"שנתיים אני חולם על זה," he confessed. "Two years I've dreamed of this."

"גם אני." "Me too."

His hands trembled as they touched her face. "כאן, מתחת לעיר הקדושה, אף אחד לא יידע."

"Here, beneath the holy city, no one will know."

"אלוהים יידע." "God will know."

"אלוהים מבין." "God understands."

פרק רביעי | Chapter Four

Against the ancient wall, history witnessed their passion. Her gasps echoed through chambers where priests once walked.

"!דוד... אנחנו לא יכולים" "David... we can't!"

"אנחנו כבר כן." "We already are."

His experience showed. Every touch deliberate, every movement purposeful.

"?את רוצה שאני אעצור" "Do you want me to stop?"

"!לעולם לא" "Never!"

פרק חמישי | Chapter Five

They emerged from the tunnels at dawn, the golden light of Jerusalem bathing them in absolution.

"מה עכשיו?" "What now?"

"עכשיו אנחנו חיים." "Now we live."

"ואשתך?" "And your wife?"

"יש סודות שהעיר הזאת שומרת לנצח." "There are secrets this city keeps forever."

She understood. In Jerusalem, what happens beneath the stones stays beneath the stones.
