Emek Hospital. ICU. Dina had seen everything.
"?אבא שלי יהיה בסדר" The son's eyes were red. "Will my father be okay?"
"אנחנו עושים הכל." "We're doing everything."
"תודה. איך קוראים לך?" "Thank you. What's your name?"
"דינה." "Dina."

Days became weeks. The father improved.

"בין חולים." "Between patients."

The father was released. The son stayed.
"?למה אתה עדיין פה" "Why are you still here?"
"כי רציתי להזמין אותך לקפה." "Because I wanted to invite you for coffee."
"!זה לא מקצועי!" "That's not professional!"
"הוא כבר לא מטופל שלך." "He's no longer your patient."
פרק רביעי | Chapter Four
Coffee became dinner. Dinner became something else.
"?את יודעת שאני מעפולה, נכון?" "You know I'm from Afula, right?"
"?ואז?" "So?"
"תל אביבים לא אוהבים עפולה." "Tel Avivis don't like Afula."
"אני לא מתל אביב. אני מהלב." "I'm not from Tel Aviv. I'm from the heart."

She moved to Afula. Kept working at Emek.
"?את מרוצה?" "Are you happy?"
"יש לי עבודה שאני אוהבת ואיש שאני אוהבת." "I have work I love and a man I love."
